Situated on 26.260 acres, Eagle Peak Mendocino County is a sub-appellation of the Mendocino AVA. Eagle Peak Mendocino County's elevation ranges from 1,100 to 3,320 feet with rolling and steeply sloping terrain.The soil Consists of shallow, well-draining, coarse gravel, sandstone, clay, and loam mixes. Eagle Peak Mendocino County: has a consistent climate year round with only a 20-degree variance in temperature Throughout the Year. Warm air from the inland valley pushes against the cold air off the Pacific Creating a long slow growing season in the area. Eagle Peak is Almost Exclusively planted with Pinot Noir.
